I was in Mumbai in a function which was organized to celebrate the birthday of Majrooh Sultanpuri. Majrooh Sultanpuri’s birthday is on First October, but due to festive season in recent times, it was organized on 29th of October.
During that function I was surprised to learn many facts about Majrooh Sultanpuri and Naushad Ali as families of both legends were present during the function.
I am an ardent fan of Naushad ji and Majrooh sahab since I know what is the role of music director and lyricist in a film.
Kaka J.P has organized the show and have decided that he will do so on every birthdays of Majrooh Sahab and Naushad Sahab.
I was just thinking if these people are doing so much to spread the information about these two legends, what I am doing and what I can do?
… and ‘Mulla ki duad masjid tak’… I am in web development, so just decide to launch this website. I have some videos of that function, I am going to put them on this website.
